Playing Like you I have been trying a lot of ways to get into the top of the search engines. Sure I have a pr of 0 but that doesn’t mean that other big search engine names wouldn’t notice me at all. The first method which I have tried is with Mariah Carey’s engagement to Nick Cannon which gets me into the search engine’s face. It works and right now I have been getting traffic for their names. Given this result, I have speculated that headlines work on search engines but you have to be good at SEO to do just that. In my post about Nick and Mariah, I have said their names more than 4 times. I believe this has given me the edge on most of the other ones that the same topic back then.

On Sunday night, I have watched the fight between the two UFC fighters which I always thought that wouldn’t give me much traffic but since I have run out of ideas on that day, I have tried it and I immediately saw the results after a few minutes. Right now it is the most viewed posting on my blog. I am very happy with the results even though that it is just accidental and I never really thought that it could produce much traffic. It is already running on its fourth day but still giving me the visits that I want. Don’t ask me though if they will convert to my readers because I’m not sure of what they like, but one thing I’m sure of, some of them will be converted to my readers and some of them might not. The important thing is that it has given me the traffic that I needed to boost my page view.

Yesterday I just tried to top this by playing the issue with Kimberly Caldwell , whom apparently David Cook is dating right now but it didn’t give do me any good since it never did give me traffic from search engines. All is fair in the name of SEO. We must experiment on everything and not depend on what we learned from others because SEO is constantly evolving. We have to get some fresh ideas in order to keep ahead of our business. On June I’m thinking of covering events such as Independence Day and Fiesta. I’m thinking that it will be a hit on the internet.
