A few days ago I just set up my own ad campaign on Adtoll an affiliate program which I’m trying to market aside from my blog. I haven’t sent he effects yet because the campaign is just new and I will have to wait for a month before I could see the results which is sales. Let’s forget about hits because this is not the reason I’m writing about them.

I just got an email from them saying that they have just change their minimum requirements on accepting publisher. They said that they are getting a lots of complains from advertisers. The new changes focus on making the quality of publisher’s directory better. Here are the few changes they are now implementing.

• Site must contain useful content or perform a function. Sites over populated with advertisements or spam are not accepted.

• Sites offering or promoting “get paid to read” or “get paid to click” programs, pyramid schemes or similar programs are not accepted.

• Sites reproducing or containing download links to copyright protected material are not accepted. e.g. Rapidshare links.

• Sites promoting illegal activities are not accepted. e.g. hacking.

• Sites that are incomplete or under construction are not accepted.

• Sites that do not meet our in-house quality criteria are not accepted.

If you are not yet a publisher or an advertiser then it is about time that you join Adtoll.

I was looking for an adult affiliate program these days because I think that adult sites tend to brings money easily. Most of the one that I know are really earning a great sum of money from being an affiliate of this niche. Although I have encountered this site since January, I never really got into it because I was thinking that I don’t have the time and it was too early for me to go full time on affiliate marketing. I just got myself an account with this site. I was thinking of advertising an adult site and since PayPal doesn’t allow such then I started looking for other ways. 2. After going to all that procedure then you may head on to giving the maximum bid for the said box. The winning bid will be the one shown on that ad box. So, if someone outbid you, then your ads will not show but don’t worry because your ads will show once the contender’s fund is empty.

3. Tell them when you would like the ads showing and when it will end.

4. Put a cap on your expenses, so that you won’t worry that you will pay more for what you are willing to spend. The minimum amount is $1.

After a few hours of setting my ads I notice that the site has sent me traffic. I’m very happy with the result because this is the highest visit that I have received on a single day. I will update you on my ad campaign.

I just found a new ads network while searching for one all over the internet. This one is certainly one of the newest because the site just went live on 4-28-2008. While reading through the site I notice that it works just like adsense but better because it has some add-ons for users. We will talk about it as we go further into investigating this new ads network.

Like I have said before it works just like Adwords but with an easier way to pay because you can pay either by PayPal, credit card, e-gold, e-bullions and even your earnings which makes it more convenient for you. In fact, this is the first ads network that I have found to offer that kind of payment. I always thought that this kind of payment method is only available on those PTC sites. The best thing in this site is that they will allow you to publish your site for free if your site is NGO (Non Government organizations) but you must go through a rigid screening process wherein you must pass information such as verification of address, contact information, legal paperwork, proof of organizations, supporters and statements from proper authority.

I browse through the fact section and I notice how it differs from Adsense. They will never banned your site even if you will click on your ads fro a million times because they are the only one who have the tracking system that could tell if that is coming from your IP or not. You can get the money once you have an accumulated balance of $50 on your account. You could choose to receive payments by PayPal, check, E-gold, E-bullion, and wire transfer. They said that they are thinking of adding more ways to get your money.

Recently I just installed the plugin Maxblogpress Favicon which allows me to have my own brand on the internet. I’m sure that a lot of you are seeing those on their browser and would like to have one for yourselves; well I have good news for you because this plugin will allow you to do just that.

The first thing that you must do is to create your own icon which can be made on a simple paint program or photoshop. Be creative, the idea is to have an icon that will be used to identify you by your readers. You don’t really need to be an expert at doing it, sure that it will satisfy you because this will reflect your site.

The next thing you have to do once you have created your own icon is to upload it to your blog. You can see lots of ready made icon but it would be nice if you have your own brand.

The most important part of this plugin is to let your site stand out of the rest.

I just receive an email this morning saying that I won more than $2 million. The funny thing is I never joined any contest wherein I would win that amount. As the title already implies this is a also a scam. This is not the first time that I have received such email. I remember when I was just starting out on my online endeavor that I got the same email wherein I won $15 million from a lottery that I have played. When I got into the site it said that I have to give my credit card number. Since I don’t have any credit card I can’t get the prize. They have sent me another email saying that if I don’t claim my prize then they would forfeit the prize money. I never did claim it and they keep on sending the same email which always falls into my spam folder.

I think of sharing the email that I got just now so that you wouldn’t fell for that same trick.

I started experimenting with my theme a week ago. At first they went bad. This is normal thing because I’m just doing some experiment with it. You might have notice that that my theme is changing almost everyday. I’m sure most of you don’t like the theme that I have created during the early time. This is part of a process to making your own unique theme.

If you want to make your own unique theme then the first thing that you must do is to have it copied to a word document then save. Print the document so you will have a hard copy of the theme you are trying to edit. Having both a hard copy and a soft copy could save you lots of head aches because if you know some programming you could have a look at the code and debug it for yourself on the hard copy. Debugging it on the hard copy will save you a lot because you can easily find the ones that you will have to make some adjustments. The soft copy is just for safety.

I wish that I have done that in the first place because some of things that I have done to my theme can’t be undone. Now, if I have followed that instruction then I could easily edit it back to the way that it was. So to speak, my theme is just a result of bad theme design which I tried to modify every time I had the time. Experimenting with the designs means that you have to save your work every time you have the changes done.  The result may not be what you are thinking but continue on editing your theme until you got the right one for you.  This is mainly based on your liking.  Remember that you want something that no one is using and this is the way how you could get a unique theme for yourself.
